Mr. Kamal Ratrout is an ICT leader with over 25 years of experience driving digital transformation and operational excellence. With a deep understanding of both the
technical and business aspects, he has successfully led large-scale projects, optimized operations, and enhanced customer experiences. A strategic advisor, Mr. Ratrout leverages his expertise to guide organizations in developing and executing ICT strategies. His key focus areas include:

1. Infrastructure Development: Designing and implementing cutting-edge network infrastructure to support evolving business needs.
2. Operational Excellence: Optimizing processes, improving efficiency, and reducing costs.
3. Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating potential risks to ensure business continuity and information security.

From 2011 to 2022, Mr. Ratrout was nominated to hold the Chief Technology Officer position at Paltel Group, where he led multi-million-dollar projects, including developing a Tier-3 Data Center, expanding the 3G network, and managing network and security operations centers. He also played a key role in digital transformation initiatives, such as
CRMandbilling system modernization. He also led the group’s technical communication and advocacy with authorities, the international community, vendors, and other external and international parties.

In 2005, Mr. Ratrout was appointed as an Engineering Director. He was responsible for the strategic planning, operations management, and quality control of the cellular system to ensure high-quality technological infrastructure and network. In addition, he led a team of 130 members to expand the cellular network by reaching more than two million subscribers within one of the world’s most complex cellular networks, operating under stringent frequency limitations while maintaining international QoS and customer experience standards.

He started his career as a Support Engineer at Jerusalem Technology Systems (1996-1997). Then in 1997, he joined Jawwal as a Senior Networking Engineer. Until 2011, Mr. Ratrout held several leadership positions at Jawwal, such as Senior Switching Engineer (O&M Section Head), and then a Switching Manager.

Mr. Ratrout holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology in 1996. He served on several executive boards including, the Palestinian Information Technology Association of Companies PITA, the Higher Council for Innovation and Excellence HCIE, the Paltel Group Foundation, and Fikra-PG Innovation Hub. He is also a member of the Palestinian Digital Transformation Committee, and Jordan Engineering Association.
